Overall condition: Poor. The inscription is legible but the components have been disturbed and are in disarray.

Description:

An addition to a white marble headstone on a family grave. The headstone has a round arch top with stepped shoulders, a laurel wreath carved in relief at the head, sprays of foliage in vertical bands at each side, and an inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. It surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top bearing a further inscription, but the conjoined headstone and base have been laid flat on the ground adjacent to the grave. The headstone is accompanied by oblong white marble kerbs with the maker's name inlaid at the foot.

Unknown date: The memorial was made by Holbrook & Co, monumental masons of Eastwood, Nottinghamshire.

Unknown date: The memorial was laid back on the ground, presumably because it was unsafe.

4th February 2016: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in poor condition, the components being in disarray.
