Location details: The church is on the south side of the road. The memorial is inside, on the north wall of the Meynell Chapel, which is at the east end of the north aisle.

Description:
A wall-mounted oblong brass plaque with a an incised border of chevrons between two thin lines. The incised inscription is in a decorative form of upright sentence-case gothic lettering coloured white.

Inscription
|
Raymond England Major, Royal Field Artillery gave his life on August 26th. 1914, when commanding his battery near Le Cateau in France. "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." In memory of my gallant husband. F.G.E.

28th June, 1995: The church lies within the Kirk Langley Conservation Area designated on that date.
25th June, 2017: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson. It was in fair condition.
