Description:
An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The tall white marble headstone surmounts an oblong base with bevelled top and is one of two on a double plot. It has a pointed arch top and recessed sides, and at the head is an emblem of clasped hands in relief within an oval panel and two triangular panels with ivy leaves in relief. The inlaid inscription is mainly in upright capital block lettering and the maker's mark is at the foot. The headstones are accompanied by plain oblong white marble kerbs and round headed footstones.
