Description:
An addition to a headstone on a family grave. The white marble headstone is in the style of a scroll unfurled over a classical wall. The scroll bears an inlaid inscription mainly in upright capital lettering; it has a carved dove of peace perched on the top and is flanked by tulips in relief on the face of the wall. The headstone surmounts a plinth with a bevelled top and bearing the memorial inscription inlaid in a similar style, and a base with chamfered top. The whole is accompanied by oblong kerbs with the maker's details inlaid at the foot.
