Location details:
The Green is a paved access road leading to a supermarket car park and several commercial properties. The memorial is at the eastern end of the road, just inside the railings of the garden of remembrance.

Overall condition: Very good. The inscription is legible.


Description:

A black oblong planter bearing a decorative panel on the long side. The panel has a black design against a white background creating a silhouette effect: to the left is a group of poppies with red petals; at the centre is a trellis design and to the right is a kneeling infantryman with a Union Flag. The inscription is in a white upright capital stencil pattern in a panel at the top right corner. The planter is stocked with a variety of flowering plants and foliage plants of different colours.
