Location details: The garden of remembrance is on the north side of the road in the centre of the village. The tablet is at the north end.

Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.

Description:
A grey granite tablet on a sandstone backboard. The upright oblong tablet has the names of the fallen in two columns and a VC winner at the foot. The incised inscription and names are in gilded upright roman lettering, the names in capitals and the text in sentence case.
