The garden is on the perimeter of the site, to the east of the actual stadium.

Description:

A long oblong garden containing shrubs, rocks, paths, an information board and many individual memorials. At the southern end is a sandstone rock with an inset resin plaque bearing a gilded incised inscription in capital and sentence case upright block lettering. At the centre is a poppy and at the bottom right is the badge of Chesterfield FC.

History and Conservation
June 2014: The first sod was cut, and the garden was subsequently developed by Chesterfield Supporters Club.

Summer 2014; Building work was executed by Andy Ball and Tony Bointon; the stone was produced by Lumshill Stone (UK) Ltd of Chesterfield and signs were provided by Chatsworth Signs of Lower Pilsley, Derbyshire. The total cost was £35,000.

2nd August, 2014: The memorial was opened at a ceremony attended by Mr William Tucker, Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire; Mr David Coleman, High Sheriff of Derbyshire; Cllr Alexis Diouf, Mayor of Chesterfield and Mr Albert Collins, former Chesterfield player.

23rd January, 2020: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition and cared for.
