Location details:
The church is on the south side of Mayfield Rd at the junction with School La. The memorial is on the west wall of the nave, near the font.

Overall type: Plaque. Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

An oblong brass plaque with a plain line border, a rubricated latin cross at the head, and an inscription incised in upright capital roman lettering coloured black.

Unknown date (c1920?): The memorial was procured and installed in the church.

15th June, 1951: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England number 1207715

November, 1968: Ashbourne Conservation Area was first designated; the church lies within it.

22nd December, 2008: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson. It was in fair condition and cared for.

26th September, 2019: The memorial was resurveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.
