Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.
|
Description:
An addition to the lettering on a stone on a family grave. The tall limestone headstone has a pointed arch top with plain border, recessed sides, and foliation in relief in a crescent-shaped panel at the head. The inscription is inlaid in block and gothic styles of mainly upright capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong stone base with chamfered top.

July, 1971: The memorial lies within the Brassington Conservation Area first designated in that month.
2nd March, 2009: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition although some letters were missing from the inscription.
