Description:

An addition to the wording on a family gravestone comprising a sandstone tablet. The tablet is one of a jumble of broken and displaced stones that presumably comprised a former family gravestone. The tablet is in the style of a noticeboard attached to a post and was formerly attached to a stone at the head of the grave.  It bears an inscription incised in upright capital block lettering.  Two nearby graves also have a jumble of displaced stones, some of which bear the name Hodgkinson, and it is impossible to determine which stone belongs to each grave.
