Comments
The headstone and kerbs were provided by the family in lieu of an official CWGC grave marker. The grave is recorded by CWGC as the war grave of Sgt Burrows and is therefore not classified as a war memorial according to the definition adopted by most heritage organisations. The vase, however, being portable is considered to be a war memorial.

CWGC record the casualty as Sgt 751057 Albert Edward Burrows, 7 Sqn Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
