Location details:
Towards the eastern corner of the compartment, two rows north from the side path and about five rows west from the main path.
Type
Overall type: Vase Overall condition: Poor. The vase is intact but is neglected and has incurred some damage, including a large piece of stone broken from the corner of the inscription.


Description:

A cubic vase accompanying a CWGC gravestone. The concrete vase has marble tablets on the top and the sides, one of which bears the inscription inlaid in upright capital block lettering.

11th January, 2022: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in poor condition.

Comments
The casualty is recorded by CWGC as Aircraftwoman 2nd Class 480000 Irene Hilda Harrison, Women's Auxiliary Air Force.

Although Hilda Harrison is named on the CWGC gravestone, this is her CWGC War Grave so the headstone is not classified as a war memorial according to the definition adopted by most heritage organisations.
