Location details:
Towards the eastern corner of the compartment, in the first row from the hedge and third from the side path.
Type
Overall type: Addition to gravestone Overall condition: Poor. The headstone has become detached from the base: it appears to be intact but it has become partially buried. The upper part of the inscription is legible although the lower part is below ground.


Description:

A black granite headstone and base on a family grave. The low oblong headstone has a shallow arched top with stepped shoulders. The face bears a rose in low relief to each side and has an inscription incised in upright capital roman lettering. The plain oblong base is also partially buried.
