 Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible.
Description:

A ship's bell on a stand. The bronze bell has an incised inscription and is mounted within a wooden frame so that it hangs freely. The top rail of the frame bears a brass plaque with an inscription incised in upright capital roman lettering. It also supports a nowy-headed wooden board with moulded cornice at the top, a ship's badge at the head and an inscription and namelist painted in black upright capital roman lettering. 12th October 2013: The memorial was surveyed by Anne and Roy Branson. It was in fair condition but at that time the board had not been affixed.

9th March, 2015: The memorial was surveyed by Eric Naden. It was in good condition and the board had been affixed.

14th March, 2016: The memorial was photographed by Roy Branson. It was in good condition.
