Description:
A temporary Derbyshire well dressing display traditionally made from a mosaic of flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame but now often utilising stones, beads, fabric etc. The dressing comprised a horizontal oblong frame and had a white disc at the centre with a narrow border of blue and pink and containing the inscription in blue and red upright capital lettering. The top two-thirds of the panel was filled with red, white and blue radiating rays and the lower third comprised a blue oblong containing the dates.

|
Spring 2020: The well dressing was planned and produced by members of the local community.
8th May, 2020: The well dressing was placed on display until 10th May and photographed by Rachel Wiggins.
11th May, 2020: The well dressing was dismantled and the components salvaged for re-use.
