Description:
A temporary Derbyshire well dressing display traditionally made from a mosaic of flowers and other vegetation pressed into clay held in a wooden frame but now often utilising stones, beads, fabric etc. The dressing comprised an upright oblong frame and had a scene at the head with a rainbow against a blue sky and a landscape with foliage and flowers in the foreground. The lower half comprised an abstract design of circles and stars in a variety of colours. The anniversary was marked by upright black numerals within the rainbow.
