Description:
A sandstone cross on a pedestal and two-stepped base, with bronze plaques on three faces of the pedestal. The latin cross has a slightly tapered shaft that flares out to a square foot, the 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock faces of which bears, in relief, a bound laurel wreath with the letters RIP at the centre. The pedestal has a moulded head with a winged cherub's head at each corner and bronze tablets let into recesses on three of its faces. The pedestal flares out to a low plinth and surmounts a square two-stepped base. The three plaques have a narrow raised border and raised inscriptions in upright mixed case roman lettering.
