Location details: The parish church signboard clearly identifies the village as Great Barlow but maps and other references refer to it as just Barlow. The grave is about 20m northeast of the church, near the road.

Description:
A reclining tablet placed on the surface of a grave to accompany a family memorial. The family memorial comprises a white marble latin cross on a three stepped base. The face of the cross has a Christograph and spray of climbing foliage in relief and the steps of the base have bevelled tops with an inlaid inscription in upright capital block lettering. The tablet is in the style of an open book with a further inscription on the pages in similar style. The memorials are accompanied by oblong kerbs.
