Autumn, 1949: The name of Fl Sgt Harvey Nutt Unwin was added to the tablet. 1975: The tablet is believed to have been damaged when St James's Church was demolished and most of the border was lost. It is believed to have been moved to St Bartholomew's Church, Clay Cross. 31st August, 1984: St Bartholomew's Church was listed Grade II, Heritage List for England reference 1087812. August 2010: St Bartholomew's Church lies within the Clay Cross Conservation Area designated on that date. 16th May, 2013: St Bartholomews Church, Clay Cross was searched by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot but the memorial was not found. |
