| Description: A wall mounted brown and cream mottled alabaster tablet with an inlaid border of red, cream and gold mosaic and three central inset panels. The left panel contains an inlaid cross and crown in red and gold and the right panel contains an inlaid badge of the Devonshire Regiment also in red and gold. The central panel contains the inscription incised in upright capital roman lettering infilled in black. |

31st August, 1984: The church was listed Grade II, Heritage List for England reference 1087812. August 2010: The church lies within the Clay Cross Conservation Area designated on that date. 16th May, 2013: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition. |
