Location details:
The church is on the north side of the road in the centre of the village. The bell is in the tower and the tablet is inside the church, on the tower wall at the west end of the nave.
Type
Overall type: Bell Overall condition: Good. The inscription is legible and the memorial is cared for.


Description:

A church bell accompanied by a brass plaque on a wooden backboard. The bell is a treble tuned to F. The horizontal oblong lacquered brass plaque has an inscription incised in upright capital roman lettering coloured white. The moulded frame is made of stained oak.

History and Conservation
1950: The bell was made and installed by John Taylor and Co, bellfounders of Loughborough, Leicestershire.

19th January, 1967: The church was listed Grade I, Heritage List for England number 1205179.

1st July, 2010: The plaque was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in good condition and well cared for.

6th June, 2018: The plaque was surveyed by Richard Roberts. It was in good condition and well cared for.
