Overall condition: Fair. The inscription is legible.
|
Description:
An additional inscription to a limestone headstone on a family grave. The tall headstone has a rounded nowy head, rounded shoulders with flowers and foliage in relief in a roundel at the head. The inscription is inlaid in different styles of upright lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong limestone base with bevelled top.

END OF A GOOD LIFE, ENDS IN A GREAT REWARD. ALSO OF PTE. HAROLD BULL, OF MANCHESTER, SON OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED OF WOUNDS IN BELGIUM, JULY 29TH. 1917, AGED 33 YEARS. HIS DUTY NOBLY DONE ALSO EMMA BULL, WIFE OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED JULY 11TH. 1926, AGED 73 YEARS. "PEACE, PERFECT
PEACE."
