Type
Overall type: Addition to gravestone.
Overall condition: Poor. The inscription is legible but the memorial has been displaced.
Description:
An addition to the lettering on a headstone on a family grave. The oblong grey limestone headstone has a shallow triangular arch top with a keystone at the apex and panels to each side bearing foliage in relief at the top and deep grooves below. The inscription is inlaid in mixed styles of capital lettering. The headstone surmounts an oblong base with a further inscription and is accompanied by oblong kerbs and a stone vase, however the conjoined headstone and base have been laid flat adjacent to the grave, presumably because they had become dangerous.
