Description:

A cluster of four sweet chestnut trees (Castanea sativa) accompanied by a brass plaque on a timber post. The incised inscription is in upright sentence case block lettering coloured black.

January, 2011: The memorial was dedicated by Cllr Neil Atkin and Mrs Barbara James, chairman and consort, South Derbyshire District Council

22nd November, 2011: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. It was in fair condition and cared for.
